Would like to have multiple signs to do website modifications but only one of these to have account access. We are a large non-profit with volunteers who are not personally connected doing website modifications. These individuals should not have access to personal information of the owner.

When?  It has been two years since your post.  I NEED this.... otherwise I am stuck doing all of the updates myself, when I have employees who could do it.  I need each web site to have a separate log in.

Since we were sold, we have been updating systems and have not been able to work on enhancing, but this is under consideration, but not planned, so unfortunately, there is no ETA or at this point a guarantee it will be added.. I am sorry for the news.

I am kind of in the same boat - most of my pages are for non-profits and have volunteered to do another one. However the fellow running this non-profit did all his pamphlets, postcards, business cards etc. on a Mac and everything has to up-loaded from there, and I am not a Mac User and don't plan to be.

Now I understand that my personal info will be available if I give this fellow access to the site (and No ETA)

But is it possible for two people (at the same time) to be working on separate sites ?

This seems like a common feature that other website services offer.  It is really a shame that while it was being "built up" that it was overlooked by the original developer.  This is a critical feature (obviously by the majority of responses to this topic) that many businesses and industries typically depend on.  I might have reconsidered my subscription with you if I wouldn't have made the mistake of assuming that like most of the other website service providers out there that you too would have offered it.  Please consider this feature important enough to make it a priority.

Webmaster Log In.

I have an e-commerce web site and would like to hire an employee to manage the site. Is there a way to give them their own log-in or do they have to use mine?

We currently don't have this option but if you would like to click the +1 button our developers can gauge the interest.

Make Sitebuilder and www.homestead.com passwords different..

Homestead should allow to have two different Login passwords: one to access Sitebuilder and a different one to access www.homestead.com. By doing so, we could allow a person to make changes to the website but not to the homestead account such as email passwords. Presently, giving access to a person to make updates to a website allow that person to change the password of an email account and access this email using the new password. For my situation, I make updates to a small municipality website so I have the password to Sitebuilder. However, this password gives me access to the account and email passwords. This is not legally acceptable because I am not an employee of the municipality. Enforcing a different password to access the account would allow that extra security and also more flexibility. >Thanks André Patry

Administrative capabities for more than one website under my id.

I maintain 2 website thru homestead. Can I set it up as an administrator and give another person a logon id and password, different than mine, to just update one of the websites while I still maintain the other website?
