I have Website Gold Plus package. I use SiteBuilderLXP to edit my website and to publish. My old computer uses Windows 7. I have a new computer with Windows 10 installed and do not know how to transfer my updating/editing/publishing to the new computer. Help.

Drew, I believe I have it moved to Windows 10 and it looks like I can edit and publish IF I do not select to display page after publishing. If I do not check that it seems to work. If I check that box then it will publish but not show me the page. I get a message to check the address and it gives me this: "This page can’t be displayed, Make sure the web address https://www.homestead.com is correct"

I will see if I can find out what is causing that, but if you can publish, that is good. Can you preview as well?

Yes, I can preview. I see no tab for returning to EDIT so I have to go back in other ways. Also, when opening pages three opened fine but the fourth one told me that sitebuilderLPX has stopped working and Windows closed it out.

Was it a one time error? or is it happening on the same page every time? Which page is it?

Happens every time. "About Me"; "Books"; "Buttons"; "Groupings" open ok. "Field Equip" and "Head Gear" get the quit working message and site shut down. I did not check all the other pages. Figuring whatever fixes the two I mention should fix all of them.

I just checked my emails addresses associated with my website domain name and they are gone. It looks like I wasted money buying a computer with windows 10. You have no website build that will work with 10?

Drew, thanks for trying to help but, you can quit on this one. I gave up on Windows 10 and went back to my old computer to work my website.

This is A MAJOR issue with Homestead. Your sitebuilder needs to be compatible with Windows 10. Its Homestead responsibility to make this thing work with new operating systems. Thats what we pay a monthly fee for! My sites been down for at least 1.5 years waiting for you knucleheads to make sitebuilder compatible with windows 10. BAH!

If you are referring to Sitebuilder desktop, many people are still using it on Windows 10, but Microsoft is phasing out things that desktop depends upon. While many still use it, we did replace desktop with Sitebuilder Plus. And now we have replaced Sitebuilder Plus with Homestead Websitebuilder. You can log in to Homestead(Chrome or Firefox are best) and go to the Websites manager page. Click the arrow on the edit of the edit site button and select edit with Sitebuilder Plus.

I am addressing my original problem again.....I see that sitebuilder is "32 bit" and my Windows 10 is "64 bit"; does that have anything to do with my problems?

No. I have Sitebuilder desktop working on 3 different 64 bit Windows 10 computers. But it does stop working when Windows does updates and Microsoft disables/breaks certain Windows components that are required for Sitebuilder, but are no longer supported by Microsoft. If .NET 3.5 is enabaled and J# is installed and repaired, then most everyone is able to install and run desktop. There have been some exceptions though.
