Missing contact info

Among my other frustrations with the new email system, I have just discovered that mailing addresses are missing for many of my contacts! This is a serious deletion. Please locate and restore!!

Also, the pale blue type is difficult to read. How can I change my preferences?

I wanted to move an email from my inbox to its folder, so I clicked on MOVE and was given an odd list of choices including calendar, contacts, etc. Expecting a drop down menu, I clicked on public folders and the email disappeared. How can I find it and move it to its proper location?

Is there a help page for this system where things are actually explained? Homestead, I am feeling really let down by you!

Can you clarify what has happened to the email contacts? are you saying the names migrated over but the addresses did not? Also, can you guesstimate how many, or what percent this occurred on? We want to fix this the most efficient way possible but a remigration may not be the best way.

As far as moving emails, the system will simpley allow you to click, drag, and drop it into the desired folder.

As far as finding the missing email, that is not really something we can troubleshoot via the Community. Do you know which option you selected? You can call us and share your log in credentials if you need someone to look at it with you.

I cannot guess how many contacts were affected. I am missing some contacts altogether. Others are there but phone numbers and physical addresses are missing. Some are missing only physical addresses. All of the information is there for a few of the contacts. Last night I added information for a few where I discovered missing info and happened to have it elsewhere.

The drag and drop option does not always work. Last night and again a few minutes ago I was unable to delete mail out of my inbox. The DELETE did not work at all and the MOVE to trash did not work. I finally got it to work by logging off and back in, but that is impractical.

Hi Laureen, Homestead unlocked my old email account and I was able to print out my address list from that. They offered another option to try but I have been cautious about trying that one as yet. This new system certainly is tedious. Good luck! Jane

They did the same for me and I chose to cut and past. I like how every time they say they are making changes to make things better for us it always causes us more work and aggravation. Good luck to you. Laureen
