Master page

Is it possible to select a Master Page element and have it only appear on one page? I have looked around for a way to do this but cannot seem to find an answer. Thanks so much for your help. :)

There is no way to have something that is set on the master page to only show on one page as the master page feature is specifically designed to apply anything on it to all pages. What you can do is add a normal element (text box, image, navigation etc) only to the page you would like that on and not use the master page feature.
