Can you insert links to web pages in your site? Is there a way to upload or with a link, word documents and excel spreadsheets? I own a school bus company and drivers want to be able to have access to and submit forms via the website. Is that possible? What if I were to pay to have my site professionally done? Thank you.

Since you are asking multiple questions, I'll break them apart and answer below.

Can you insert links to web pages in your site? Yes This page shows how to create links to other pages or files. https://community.homestead.com/homes...

Is there a way to upload or with a link, word documents and excel spreadsheets? You can upload Word & Excel docs into the file manager for others to download by following the steps here: https://community.homestead.com/homes... but, there is not a way to make those forms interactive so that visitors can fill them out online and you receive the content.

Instead, you can create that functionality using some different technology. Here are a few choices.

1. You could use the custom form building elements in SiteBuilder https://community.homestead.com/homes...
2. If your form will be large with lot's of content and you need more sophisticated data management capabilites, then you might look into using Google Docs (or Microsoft) , Google has their own online version of Excel. It's all web based and allows you to create web forms and the data goes into a spreadsheet. Once you have the online form created, you can then Iframe it into one of your pages using the steps here: https://community.homestead.com/homes...

What if I were to pay to have my site professionally done? I realize all this can be complicated and time consuming to figure out on your own, so yes, we do offer custom website building services, and we can create custom online forms if you wish. If you would like to discuss your needs with a design consultant and get a price quote, just reply here and let me know and I can arrange for someone to call you back.

I hope this helps.

Yes! That helps greatly Mike, thank you. I did figure out how to post a link, but it isn't "clickable", and no way to change color. The background is dark and so is the text. I ended up putting a color block behind it. Is there a way to make the link clickable?

When you create the link, it should automatically become click-able. What is the page name and the text you are trying to link and we'll take a look at it for you.

I was trying to direct employees to another site that benefits juvenile diabetes. Here is a link (for employees tab) http://www.integrity-transportation.c...
I don't know why it shows up here as testimonials. I am not at my computer right now so I will try your suggestions, if any, tomorrow.

It looks like you just pasted the URL into an html box which actually won't work. What you'll need to do is just type the text you want to link into an ordinary text box, then highlight the text with your mouse. Once you have it highlighted, look to the right side in the properties editor for a button labeled "Link". When you click this button it will pop open a window with a field where you can paste the url.
