The link element isn't working.  I highlight a phrase and attempt to link using the link element (function) but it doesn't complete the link.  I was able to complete a link on a picture next to the phrase but not the phrase.  http://www.marylougoertzenartwork.com/about

I see at least on text link on that page. What phrase are you trying to link, and where are you trying to link to? I will take a look.

On the "about" page where it says Mennonite Life, I tried to link "The Artist Interprets Life" but it wouldn't work.  I was able to create the link on the picture at the left.  http://www.marylougoertzenartwork.com/about

I tried placing a link in several places but couldn't make it stick.  As you can see, I have created other links so I am not sure why it isn't working.

Karl5056, I took the link from the image and put it on that text. I saved and exited and it is still there. Can you look and see if the behavior you described is still happening?

Did you make sure to select the URL button on the left when adding the link to the URL field?

Thanks Drew.  I published the change you made for me.  The new link is working but I still can not get it to work using Edge.  I tried Fire Fox as you suggested to Paul V.  It was worse.  It not only didn't work but is deleted the words I highlighted for the link.  I seem to have a lot of issues with links.  When I create a link at the end of a sentence in my other websites (older Website builder) the final product is a link for the entire sentence.  It is terribly frustrating.  Recently I had to create another text box for the link because it didn't work correctly after 4 attempts.

I am just not sure what is causing it. I will do some testing with Edge. Maybe it is something installed in your computer. There is a pretty good browser called Brave. Can you try downloading it and trying? The goal is to see if a newly installed browser without any extensions or anything works.

I have not had this issue before with Chrome or Firefox  which are my normal browsers.

I will try another browser.  I have been creating work arounds since I first started because website builder has given me problems.  In the past I have tried Safari, Explorer, FireFox, and now Edge.  I have a new ASUS laptop I am using.  No improvement in website builder performance since my Lenovo laptop crashed 6 months ago.  My work computer is a Dell.  All of them have the same issue.  The Browser doesn't seem to matter either.  I hate adding more browsers because they fight for dominance.

I did confirm and report the Edge issue to the developers.
I understand. I wonder if maybe it is something else. Do you use a single security program on all computers? I have 2 Dells that I use regularly, a mini tower and a laptop, and Edge is the only browser I have a problem with. Performance is great for me, even at home on a relatively slow connection.

I end up with loads of browsers as I end up installing every one that someone uses.

It isn't working for me either.  It works for linking to another section of the web site, but not linking text to email.  It seems like when I start typing the email address, the highlighted text un-highlights itself, perhaps that is a bug preventing the link from sticking?

I still see it there. I did not publish the link, so it would not have been on the live site. Make sure you are highlighting on the word "email" There should not be a space at the end.

I can publish it if you like.

This time when I opened Editor the word "email" was clearly already linked, and it was linked to test@test.com.  I tried to link another word but same thing, doesn't work.  I was able to edit the test.com link to my correct email address, but that doesn't solve the problem for other links I need.

I am not sure why you are having this issue. Can you try using Chrome or Firefox so we can see if this is related to Edge?

It works perfectly in both Chrome and Firefox. That will work for me, thanks!

Thanks for checking. I will take a look into Edge and see if it is something that needs to be sent to the developers.
