When I open the website on a phone or tablet the pages are jumbled and illegible. Other signing in have also told of this problem. What can I do?

Good morning swarmforhomeless1938,

You have some good content on the site, but the boxes are designed pretty tight with the colored text and borders.  You can try things like making the background rectangles a little larger, and/or add a little padding in the text boxes.

I really think the best solution would be to create a mobile site and use that.  You should see a picture of a mobile phone to the right of the edit site button when you first get to Websites manager.  It will take you to Dudamobile.  Once you set up the mobile site, then you should see better mobile results.  You may need to do some work in their editor to get it looking the way you want.

Thanks

Drew

I have a similar problem, when I open my page with old Fashioned Google it's fine, but when opened with Google Chrome, everything is jumbled together and all my audio tracks play straight away on top of each other. I think the problem is to do with JAVA. Try uploading the latest version and see if that helps and check to see if other people have the same problem as you. If they don't the cause may well be within your own PC systems.

Hi Trevor4274,

Everything on your site looked n behaved for me in Chrome.  Were you able to resolve your issues?

Hi Drew,

No, not yet. I think Java is a law unto itself.

This is the page I had problems with, try this one... http://www.trevorkrueger.com/untitled4.html
Let me know how you get on?

Ok, I was looking at your homepage.  On that page, if you hit ctrl-a in Sitebuilder, you will see some overlapping elements.  This can cause some jumbling in Chrome.  Unfortunately, the only solution is to try to get the elements to not overlap.  Sometime you can make the text boxes smaller, sometimes you might need to spread them out a bit.

As for the audio, this is a known issue in Chrome with the built in audio player.  You will need to use a 3rd party player if you have multiple audio files on a page.  Or you can use an HTML5 player code

Hi Drew,

Many thanks for that advice, I'll see what I can do to resolve it now.

Could I ask another question please?

I have just taken up the mobile phone website facility for 3 of my sites, but one in particular is not working correctly.

On www.bizarro-productions.com the image on the phone version fails to show the name of the company in the logo at the the top. I get the Earth and the stars background but no "Bizarro Productions" etc.
Any suggestions why please?
Many thanks
Trevor
