To all of you out there still wandering around in the dark, I'm can tell you that it will end.I lost my connection to sitebuilder plus the evening of Dec. 4th. I got my connection back sometime today. I was gone alot today, so I don't know exactly what time. The login process seems a little slower than normal, as do some of my site pages. So all of you who are still wondering when it will end, I can tell you to hang in there.

I dern sure dont't forgive Homestead or the parent company for this happening the way it did. I can understand the need to have to transfer to bigger servers.  But, that is where my understanding starts and stops. But for anyone who has a website to generate revenue from retail sales, this could not have happened at a worse time. I am one that falls into that category. Now all I can do is wait until next Christmas. Homestead absolutely could not have picked a worse time of year---and then they poured salt onto that festering wound by not even giving any advance notice.

All my best to everbody!

I am glad somebody is back. I am still unable to log into site builder. This has been going on for over a month.
Site Builder plus from Homestead.com is too slow to use.

I too am still unable to edit.  It is incredibly slow and then I received the server error message.

Glad to hear it Darrel,

We have had other reports of people coming back online as well. I hope everyone is soon.

Mine is working, too. My husband went online and typed in one of our site's web addresses and it came up with a couple photos dissolving in rather than popping on but everything loaded.  I just logged into site builder and everything is fine.  A little slow, but fine.  It's coming back, folks, just be patient.

Well, I still get that blasted site error message today.  For one brief moment yesterday, I was able to at least post a message to my customers of the problems with the web provider.  I still am pretty darned upset over this provider.

Try accessing from a different computer in a different part of town.  Several posters said they couldn't get in from home but could from their stores.

I am still out of luck. Homestead needs to do something in order to reimburse all the customers who they left hanging out to dry without any wind. Maybe 3 months of free service, upgrades of some sort, etc. This has obviously cost a lot of people a lot of time and money and doing at least something would show they actually care even if it isn't much.

We are happy to discuss this with you, but do not discuss account billing issues is public. We ask that you wait until the matter is resolved so that we can handle it in one conversation. You are welcome to open a chat, call support, or you may post a private question here in the community.

Thanks

Drew, we have never discussed billing issues online, we have been trying to call support for 3 days but no answer, and told that our storefront will be fixed within 24/48 hours. We still cannot sell online. What your company has done, is quite simply devastate our business, and ruin our sales for our Christmas products.

neil2205,

That comment regarding billing was a reply to Jeremy4168.

I am terribly sorry for the issue with the Simplestore. The engineers are working as quickly as possible to resolve this issue, but it will take them a few days more. Support continues to look for tricks and workarounds to help, but unfortunately, for the store, we have to wait and for that I do apologize.

I checked Google Analytics and by looking at the bounce page it seems people are able to view more than my homepage so I do feel better that people are gaining access to the rest of the site. Since most people are rushing around the malls yelling, we probably will not be getting many contacts til after Christmas, folks, but I see 2015 being a much better year than 2014 was for all of us. Do not forget people have gone back to work, gas is cheaper so people will have more money in their pockets in 2015. It's going to be fine, you will see.
