This is unbelievable - no email from Homestead - just emails from Irate customers who have been urged to register on website (which is UNAVAILABLE) totally insane - I have used Homestead for ten years - issues all the time. I am at my wits end - anyone have experience with www.Leagueathletics.com? I am DONE with Homestead!

So you are saying you will send an email to all clients when restored? Where was the email to let us know our sites were down BEFORE our clients (who are rightfully pissed) reached out to express their disgust. Not a god situation for anybody - I await your email letting me know my site (my life's blood) is back up and running.

That is backwords - Homestead should notify ALL clients ASAP when there are issues. Not leave us in the DARK until we are inundated with emails from our clients that can't access our website. Homestead SHOULD notify ALL clients so we can proactively deal with our customers. This is INSANE!

My original comment was deleted. So I will say Wayne you are correct with your concerns and I SHARE them 100%. Homestead website service is lacking in the technology upgrades and system upgrades appropriate for doing business in the 21st Century. Basic proactive communication with customers when issues arise is beyond the realm of their customer service. NOT acceptable

Drew....this is almost like deja vu....almost exactly 1 year ago all websites went down for almost 6 weeks while Homestead updates servers (and with NO advance warning).....this is scary and I hope you can understand why everyone is in such a panic........

A few days ago they had issues to. None of my contact us forms were showing up. They did fix it but it was very annoying. Homestead is so unpredictable. It's sad.

I am the Chief of Electronic System for Correction Canada I know these systems. If I were you I would be looking into replace your system with something more reliable with full fail over and redundancy. Then have the techs trained on repairs as well as training them in all types of system failures.

Going on 3 hours with website down. we normally get 1-2 orders and hour at an average of $200 each order. a few hours might not seem very long for you guys but to us it does. You sure that there is anyone there working on the issue or are we just getting railroaded here. I mean you don't even have people to answer the phones there at night or on weekends. Anyways that just my opinion.
Hope it gets fixed soon and doesn't take 6 weeks again to get it fixed

My site is a science education websites that my college students, and students around the world, use and rely on (ScienceProfOnline.com). I also depend on the income provided from ads on my site. So over that time when my site was unavailable, my students couldn't access their material, I lost income, and it is not unlikely that I lost what could have been some first time visitors.
Glad it appears to be resolved, but a bit frustrated with what I lost (and the frustration my students experienced) during the issue.
