We are investigating reports of some customer sites being offline. If you see a service unavailable message error 503, we are aware and are actively investigating the cause.

Alisa2943, Your site is up and running fine. Your domain is not working as it needs to be verified.

You can see your site using the Homestead provided subdomain, http://tempestkennel.homestead.com/

Once you verify the domain, according to the directions at the topic linked here, it can take up to 48 hours before the domain reactivates.

Patrick5407, I am customer support, but this is a networking issue that the engineers are working on. When I have better information I will post it here.

So you are saying you will send an email to all clients when restored? Where was the email to let us know our sites were down BEFORE our clients (who are rightfully pissed) reached out to express their disgust. Not a god situation for anybody - I  await your email letting me know my site (my life's blood) is back up and running.

That is  backwords - Homestead should notify ALL clients ASAP when there are issues. Not leave us in the DARK until we are inundated with emails from our clients that  can't access our website. Homestead SHOULD notify ALL clients so we can proactively deal with our customers. This is INSANE!

My original comment was deleted. So I will say Wayne you are correct with your concerns and I SHARE them 100%. Homestead website service is lacking in the technology upgrades and system upgrades appropriate for doing business in the 21st Century. Basic proactive communication with customers when issues arise is beyond the realm of their customer service. NOT acceptable

You know Pat5311 I was thinking the same thing, about that situation last year "deja-vu", weird how it is around that same time huh?
But Thank God its not that issue!!! Just a coincidence.

A few days ago they had issues to.  None of my contact us forms were showing up.  They did fix it but it was very annoying.  Homestead is so unpredictable.  It's sad.

Thanks for all you do Drew.  Came here to see what the problem was.  Been with Homestead since 2001 and have only had a handful of problems.  They were generally problems of my own making.

I am the Chief of Electronic System for Correction Canada I know these systems. If I were you I would be looking into replace your system with something more reliable with full fail over and redundancy. Then have the techs trained on repairs as well as training them in all types of system failures.

I am trying to run a home based business here and November is my busiest time of year and I am trying to launch new products. The sites been down for hours does not help me in any way. I have already someone contact me on my work email address trying to access my site.

This is past an inconvenience, by now the technicians should have a idea on the problem. it's high time you called in the big boys to fix this issue. you nay see your client base drop if this does not get resolved now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
