I receive spam and other assorted e-mail trash.  After individually clicking on these e-mails to get them into the trash, I find that I have to individually select them again to get them deleted out of the trash.  I can't seem to find a way to "select all" or "empty recycle bin" with one-click. (I've at least had some efficiency with Ctrl-click.)  Any ideas?

Regarding the spam, I'm leery of clicking the "unsubscribe" button, as I've heard this merely confirms receipt of the e-mail from the spammer, and does nothing to actually stop the e-mail.

You can right click on the trash folder, then you'll see an icon to empty the trash.
