Is Homestead considering a calendar function that would work with the email feature - really loathe keeping two calendars - one on my iphone and one on my laptop. Would love if they integrated as easily as the email feature does on my iphone.

I currently use Google Calendar which links directly to my Iphone and is also accessible from any computer that has internet access just sign into your email and go to your calendar. you can even invite people to share their calendar or share yours with them and you can know who is scheduled to do what and whose is available to be scheduled. However i would like to see it integrated into Intuit as well for the purpose of allowing customers to interact and request personal reminders sent to them from your web site. I.E. a customer that receives your services on a annual or by annual basis may set up a email reminder for themselves to schedule their next service through your calendar. This would have to be a public calendar of sort.

I'd like to second the above request for calendar availability on my mobile devices (iPhone and iPad). When I signed up for Homestead email, I was under the impression I would get access to both email AND a calendar in the same place. I would really like to see this feature added to streamline my business and remove the need to keep 2 calendars where things may fall through the cracks. Thank you!

Actually, if you navigate to mail.homesteadmail.com on your mobile device, the Zimbra web page is quite mobile friendly and you can access your Zimbra email calendar. We recognize that this may not be ideal for all users, but is possible to use.

Such a bummer. We need the email feature to work like webmail in that we should be able to send invites, send email and receive invites.

Hello Todd4736,

Actually the Zimbra webmail client does allow that feature. If you just click the calendar tab, create your appointment, then "right-click" on the appointment, and choose "Forward", it will let you enter an email address for the recipient(s).

But not from my email on my phone. I need it to act like an exchange account without ping through zimbra. In a modern world of smart phones zimbra is antiquated.

Todd, when you log in with your phone, the web mail client recognizes most mobile browsers and it defaults to the mobile version. Most of the newer smart phones can handle the standard, (and some even the advanced screen). When you get to the log in screen, notice the drop-down menu below the Log In button. Just switch it to Standard (or advanced), and, it will give you the option to forward and receive invites.

Thanks but I need to eliminate the log in step and go from my iPhone mail like a real corporate email. I hope someday you figure it out and make a computer based website editing Software that can be utilized on MacBook.

Hi again Todd, If you want to avoid a separate login and just open the Zimbra mail from your Iphone mail, then you add the account as an IMAP account to the Iphone email app. Here are instructions: https://community.homestead.com/homes...

Also, if you do wish to edit your site from your Mac, we can change your account over to the SiteBuilder Plus software which runs in your web browser.

While I respect the effort it does not even give me option for calendar at all. I can't send meeting requests from my phone nor can I see my zimbra calendar on my phone. It is simply not professional to have a domain that you can't access a calendar from your phone.

I agree, It would be nice if it integrated with the Apple's mail app, I don't know if Zimbra has anything planned for that in the future. Most business are overwhelmingly using MS Outlook, so as far as I know Outlook is the only program that the Zimbra calendar invites work with.
