the new google update "medic" of august last has slowly killed my online business as my website is apparently not mobile responsive up to the new google medic update, therefore the google organic adverts are way down the rankings but they were page 1 top advert, if i make a mobile site from your site builder will it address the google update issues please, thanks malc

Hi there!

It will definitely help! Building your site on the newer builder will get you the mobile capability, a responsive site, and a free SSL (So you can stop using Cloudflare)

I definitely recommend keeping your page names the same to lessen the impact that change will have to your SEO.

Additionally, we have an SEO team if you would like to hear about those services and how they could help you.

hi from malc in the UK many thanks for your reply, when you say keep the page names, which page names do you mean (treat me like a complete novice) and once published will my new site be fully updated to googles mobile responsive needs, they've basically shut my business down via organic listings since they updated (medic update)

When you go into the builder for your current site, you should see a drop down menu to View Pages. These page names should also be the names for the pages in the new builder.

Sorry, for example, you have a page called GETAQUOTE. When rebuilding that in Website Builder, keep that page name as GETAQUOTE. So the URL will be different because the new builder doesn't end in .html for pages. If you keep the page name the same, our system will be able to redirect people who go to the old URL to the new website URL.
So, it will be swagsandtailsonline.com/GETAQUOTE instead of what it currently is (swagsandtailsonline.com/GETAQUOTE.html)

i never had a problem with users on mobiles and had a great business but it was googles medic august update that stopped it, in an ideal world i would keep my main website but have a different mobile responsive site, not sure if i can do that,

Yes, that update did prompt many customers to make the same change. Unfortunately, the current site cannot be made mobile. It would not be good for SEO to try to have a separate mobile site, if you could find a way to do that.
