I have some pages made but do not want viewers to see them at this time. How do I change that?

Don't list the pages on your menu.

I got rid of the menu. We're changing direction on our business and and don't want to delete the old pages. I just don't want them viewed. And they're already posed on the search engines. What can I do?

You can't do anything about what's done. Eventually the pages will fade away into internet outer space.

You could save the content of the pages to a page that isn't published and then publish blank pages on the real ones.

Alternatively, just unpublish the page in file manager, all links etc will br cut and page not found will come up if searched for. Dont forget to remove link to that page from nav menu

You can also add no follow code to the header of the page. This would leave the pages online, but tell search engines not to crawl those pages.
