IPAD email settings don't seem to work

We are trying to setup our email account on an ipad with all the settings suggested for the incoming and outgoing servers and it does not work. It sais that ir cannot connect to the server. Also we have some android devices in which we receive emails but can not send emails. What are the correct email settings? Is there something that we can do to fix this issue?

They both should work. Make sure to follow the setup step by step.
iPad/iPhone

I recommend using a 3rd party mail application on Android. It is a much better solution. Android and K-9
