We are having problems with internal mail...
the mail we send out to others works fine, just having issues within our site,,
can someone help?
one of our platforms is Outlook 2013.. everything else is Outlook 2010..

Can you be more specific as to what the problem is, or any errors you are getting?

Hello Mike:
Thought this was just internal.. work station to work station..
but it seems like it is just one station that is running outlook 2013.
the email is sales@.......... sends mail fine just never gets there. lol
Microsoft outlook set-up account settings sends a test message, it goes thru... WT heck... help

Due to increased security in Outlook 2013, enhanced security e-mail client features are
required for proper communication between client and server.
Recommend contacting Homestead support for when they will have a resolution with the
security issues or will be compatible with Outlook 2013.
Additionally, the e-mail server has issues:
smtp host mail.hs-support.homestead-inc.com Warning - Reverse DNS does not match
SMTP Banner. This can cause sending problems.
smtp host mail.hs-support.homestead-inc.com Warning - Does not support TLS. This is a
major Security failing.
smtp host homestead.com A Valid SPF Record was not found. This can cause mail to be
non-deliverable ot more than likely to be marked as spam if it is received.

Resolution: After verifying correct e-mail settings with provider Homestead.com it
appears the Security settings on their e-mail server are either not correct or complete.
They are not comparable with Outlook 2013 even though they claim test messages are
sent & received ok.

Hi Dan4793, You may want to double check the settings on this page: https://community.homestead.com/homes... Although they don't support the TLS setting, we actually do use SPF records now. If the account is not sending then it sounds like an issue with the pst file in outlook.
