How can I increase the maiblox size?
What can I do to avoid this problem in the future?

Also, my clients keep telling me that they dont get my emails! This is affecting my business, please help!

Hi David,

Sorry for the frustration.

Unfortunately you can't increase the size of your mailbox.

However, you can sync your email with outlook and download/archive the mail to your computer which will allow you more space.

You can also create other email accounts and forward the mail you'd like to save to the new email address and use it as storage for your email.

As far as your clients not receiving your emails, do you get an error message after sending? If not, it sounds like their mail filter may be sending your email to their junk or spam folder.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi David,

You would actually want to use Outlook to store the messages on your computer. You could also sync to your iPhone or iPad, but that would be pulling in the messages from zimbra still. If you do a search in this community with the version of Outlook you have, there will be some instructions on how to set it up.

Thanks!

Chris

Why won't you sell me more storage for email, or let me leverage the unused mailbox storage I am already paying for. Google will sell me as may gigs as I want..!
My office is mobile so I need access to old emails from every device not just my desktop.

forwarding emails to another account is a work around, not a fix.

I agree this is poor service. We should be able to pay for larger email storage, rather than forwarding to another account, or backing up to our desktop.

Between bounced emails, no emails coming through, I'm starting to look at the service we get as a whole. Someone in corporate needs to review our services and start becoming customer friendly.

Homestead AND INTUIT should take notice, there's a lot of upset about the small storage space and inability to purchase more. Because Zimbramail doesn't work very well to begin with (among other things, I've changed the font color several times, but it never does). I'm paying a premium for my Intuit web hosting-- 4 times what I paid previously-- and what I get is half the email storage with no ability to increase it and an email platform that doesn't work.

We agree with you all. By today's standards 250 MB is not that much storage space. Increasing storage has been a popular request from many customers. We are going through a lot of changes and we hope to offer a plan with higher capacity in the future. If you need an immediate increase in capacity, let us know as there is a way to backup the emails in your main account into an archive account (one-time fee of $50) which will free up some space. This can provide a temporary solution if you are interested.

Mike
