So I'm trying to add a slider to the top of my page. Now the one I'm using is super basic and should be easy, but it just will not work. I'm used to working with pure html and the interface here is throwing me off. In my header I have links to the css, Jquery and javascript files.

I also have to call the function, but I'm not sure where to put this. I put it into the javascript (onload) box and nothing happens.

(I tried to post my code here but it kept disappearing when I posted it)

Am I putting the function in the right place? Usually I put it at the end of my html along with the scripts, but I cannot access the html of this site so I cannot place them there.
What am I doing wrong?
