All emails are getting a response that the email failed and has a permanent error. HELPP!!!!! And nobody answers the phone! EVER! For what I pay there should be phone support!

Hey there Cathi0232

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the email. This is happening to all 3 email addresses on the account? When do you see this error, is it in Roundcube?

It is only 1 address and I have spoken with support on the phone. They said it's my outlook setup but it is not. I have other homestead emails and they all work with the same settings. It is happening from the website email links. I think it has something to do with the nameserver thing homestead sent out the other day. I did that and now nothing works. I went in and put in a gmail address that has nothing to do with my company so it's not an ideal solution. I need it to work. I have changed back to the default nameservers.

It is a website email link? Like an email address people can click on your website and it pulls up an email program on their computer if they have one set up?
Which site do you have this on?

www.catnipnbiscuits.com But, I have changed the email address to a gmail address so we are now getting the emails. I would like to use my email that has my domain name on it.

So I hadn't sent anything yet, but I just did. I clicked the link on your website, it brought up my email program Windows 10 Mail (this feature will only work if your site visitor has an email program established on their computer) and I sent you an email. I can see you received it successfully. I would imagine, if you have the same email set up on this computer, it was just receiving an error sending to itself, but your site visitors should have no issues!

My best recommendation is, instead of just having an email link on your site, to add a contact form. This will allow the customer to send you their information so you can contact them and it isn't limited to customers that have the email program set up on their computer. It would likely eliminate this issue for you.
