I'm logged into SiteBuilder but it says I'm offline. How is that when my internet is up?

I cannot publish my page due to SiteBuilder saying I'm offline. But I am online. I even turned off my computer's security in case it was blocking Homestead SiteBuilder but it still shows the little icon that it's offline. What's wrong here?
Thanks

Hello,

If you are utilizing the desktop builder and your windows program recently updated it may have caused compatibility issues. You may need to run the fix in these articles to get the desktop builder reconnected. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/windows-10-and-sitebuilder-desktop-axe9sy82c33rk

Our computer is a 64-bit. This is the response given by Microsoft when clicking onto either link you provided. Is there a way you can program a drop down to turn on the internet while on SiteBuilder? Thanks

Okay, I tried this last link plus updated Microsoft's essential updates, still offline. The pop up window says there may be some software that's preventing the internet connection but I can't find what that might be??

Unfortunately, I would not be able to say what software may be causing issues with it either, my apologies. You can always use the online version, Sitebuilder plus by logging in at Homestead.com. It will consist of all your content and is recommend as the desktop version is becoming more outdated.

Still the SiteBuilder is saying it's offline despite all of your suggestions. I even set Internet Explorer as the default browser.
I don't like the layout of SiteBuilder Plus so I've got to get the SiteBuilder online. I haven't tried it yet on the desktop, only been trying to publish my page on the laptop. I'll try that next and let you know my findings...

Unfortunately, other than the information I have provided, there is not much else we can assist with in terms of reconnecting the desktop version. We are strongly recommending all our customers to move to the online version for a better experience and support. However, if it still compatible with your other device you are welcome to still use it from there.

SiteBuilder is "online" on my desktop computer; yet, I can't tell what's the main culprit as to why my laptop is "not online." If I find out the cause then I'll be sure to pass it along...

I switched to Mozilla on my laptop, removed and reinstalled SiteBuilder and now it's showing that it's online. I'm not sure what did the trick but I suspect that making Mozilla my default browser fixed it...

If you are using the homestead icon that is on your desktop, this is not the online builder I am referring to. Sitebuilder plus is accessed by logging in at Homestead.com. However, I am glad you were able to get this working again.
