I was notified of a large charge to my  cc. Then after telling the fraud dept to deny the pymt, I realized the charge was for Homestead. Problem is, I don't see a manual way of paying the subscription that's due.  So now what do I do? Thanks

Hello ToFrede

Your account is still showing as paid and active through Homestead. I would recommend calling your bank to see if you can reverse that chargeback, because if it goes through our system, it is going to automatically close your account. Then, we would need to charge the full amount plus a $20 fee, because chargebacks are very serious and reflect negatively upon us.

I called the fraud dept with the cc on Aug. 26th 2018 and stated that the Homestead charge was legit. They removed the block. Today, I called the cc co. back and I was told that they removed the blocked and approved the charge.
Do you think that Homestead's billing dept can provide a manual option to renew if, in event, an automatic payment is rejected?
If in the case of a website acct is closed, would that basically wipe out the pages' content or would it be able to be re-instated as it was prior to the acct being closed? (just wondering)
Thanks

All of our accounts are on automatic billing. If it doesn't go through the first time, it will try again several times over the next 30 days. After that, the account will close and can only be reopened when past due amount is paid. It doesn't wipe anything out.
It seems like you stopped that reversal in time though, because it never hit our system.
