I should add that they seem to be junk mail sends from me, but aren't. Usual viagra stuff. Is there anything I can do about it?

Scan your computer with an up to date security program and change your email password to something you have never used before. You might continue to see these message for a while as they work their way out of the system, but some mail servers will continue to try to deliver for several days.

Thanks Drew, The computer's a mac which makes me think this was spoofing rather than hacking. Password changed (unfortunately Homestead changed it again immediately after) All seems to be working now and the failed delivery messages tailing off. One of tucows clients I think, notified them - no response. Hopefully end of. Jim.

Glad to hear it. Normally it is spoofing, but Macs are not immune. For 2 or 3 years at least Mac OS have had many more exploitable vulnerabilities than any Windows version, so always be vigilant.
