I somehow messed up the background image on my site and I can't figure out how to fix it. Is there a person I can talk to about this?

It was a full block of textured color behind my header and now the block of textured color is split in two and is where I don't want it half way down the page. See:

Before I screwed it up, the red textured background coloring went from the bottom of the city's silhouette all the way to the top on all of the site's pages.

Help please?

From the look of it, to have been the entire background you would have had to specify the background using code. Do you know what happened to change it?

I tried to add the page background image to a new page that wasn't part of the template.  I didn't have that one element, but had everything else.

So this is the image. Now that I look closer, even using code the image includes the black section. I am at a loss as to how you had the effect you describe.

I wonder if one image was layered on top of the other so that at the top you just saw the top of the image and then when the other image was pasted on top of that (with a lower top point) it appeared to be a larger textured red block?

That could be. You can add the image to the page multiple times.

As a temporary solution, how do I delete the background image and just have a black background?

Page settings. Set the background to color.
