I need to delete where a domain points. What DNS setting to I change?

I just need to delete where a domain is now pointed and would like specific inistructions as to which DNS field need to be delted or changed.

What is the domain? Where are you trying to point. The records that need changing can vary. It would be A record(s) and possible CNAME(s). Whoever will be hosting the site will need to provide the records they require. Do you have those records?

Thanks for the quick reply. I just need to disconnect the domain from pointing to another. .info now points to .com. No email exists or anything else. The domain was created two days and now the customer wants it renamed. Nuts I know, but in the establishment process of pointing got screwed up and that is the first thing I need to undo. After that I am going to cancel the domain and restart that development of the website under the new doamin name.

You should be able to use the advanced DNS settings. Remove all the A records and CNAMEs if they exist. Deleting the domain will have the same effect.
