I have a domain that I need to connect with my website and I have been having trouble now doing for a month. I want to talk to some one or we may go elsewhere.

It looks like you are trying to transfer the domain in, but it is with Vistaprint and the domain has been suspended by ICANN. You will need to contact Vistaprint to unsuspend the domain before it can be transferred.

It has been a mess with vistaprint. I have been fighting with them for over a month. I had the pleasure of talk with Erin (from Homestead) and she helped me out with VistaPrint. Things look like they will be running smoothly soon.

Hopefully this will propagate and get the ball rolling. It can take some time, but it does look like we are on the right track now.

Claim8516, I am not sure what is going on with Vista Print. There are in fact, 2 holds on the domain and neither has been removed. The first one is a 60 day lock following an update to your contact information. The second is a clienthold, which means the domain is suspended.

You should be able to update your contact information and then verify it to resolve the clienthold. You should also have the option to opt out of the 60 day hold. It might be better to point the domain to is until you can find out from Vistaprint that everything is resolved.

They said that they already purged it from their system, Erin was on the phone with me. The are the worst company I have worked with.

I hope they did, but normally it would have updated by now. It can however take longer. Unfortunately, we will not be back until Monday, once business closes today. The 60 day lock, I am not able to see, except to see that the new transfer shows a 60 day lock in the notes.

The clienthold still shows and only comes off  have verified the contact information on the on the domain. I am sorry you are having this trouble. Unfortunately, Erin can only listen to them, she would not be able to see right away. I really wish we could do more.

I would call them and say "My domain is in ClientHold status and I need to unsuspend it. I also want to make sure that a new 60 day lock is NOT applied as a result of any updates we must make."

If they say clienthold and 60 day lock are both off then we can only wait. If one or both still shows on, then they need to help you. You should be able to update the contact information on the domain. As part of that you should be able to opt out of the 60 day lock. Once updated, you will get an email at the domain's admin email address asking you to verify the information. Once you have verified, then things should be moving forward.

I am not sure exactly what Erin asked them on the phone, but would double check.
