I have followed instructions faithfully about getting HTTPS. My site now shows https but it does not show the word "secure". Instead, it shows the "info" which when clicked shows "your connection to this site is not fully secure". So how do I get the "secure" sign?

Hello Edward5521

This is because there are elements on the page that are not secure. One of the elements I think is causing this issue is the page hits counter. I would try deleting that and republish your site. It should show secure.

Elyzabeth, My index page now shows "secure". However, several of my galleries ( and I have plenty) still shows, "your connection to this site is not fully secure". Are the elements in the old Sitebuilder which are no longer found in Sitebuilder Plus the ones causing this prompt? Or, how can I make my other pages "secure"? Thanks again in anticipation of your prompt response.

Hey Carlos,

That means that there is some element on your site that is not secure. You can use Sitebuilder Plus on a Mac, I just see on your account, you weren't set up to use Sitebuilder Plus. I have changed this for you. Try going into the online editor and once you are in, it is just a matter of finding which element is not secure and needs to be removed.

I'm sure Elyzabeth is very busy with thousands of concerns about https. Well, to my Homestead comrades who have the same problem as I have, I have finally figured out how to make the pages in your site "secure". Actually the main problem is the elements that were used in the old Sitebuilder. You have to remove them, especially, the animated ones, and the decorative ones using Sitebuilder Plus. After you have removed them, or replaced them with the elements in Sitebuilder Plus, save and publish your page again. When the published page appears and still shows "Not Secure" in Sitebuilder, view your page on line or with your server and the page will actually show "secure". If the page on line still shows "Not secure" then you have to experiment removing more elements from the old Sitebuilder. You just have to do trial and error. I hope this helps. If it does, glad to be of help!

Hi there Edward5521
I am glad you got that figured out. Yes, when it shows as "not fully secure" it is usually some element on the page that is conflicting. At that point it is a matter or trial and error to find which one it is, if it isn't immediately obvious. Let me know if you need anything else!

I have also changed to "Cloudfare" and it shows on their website "Secure" but on our website it still shows "Not Secure"

How do I find elements or whatever is making it show "Not Secure"?
