I seem to have accidently deleted my current website while looking at other designs. How do I retrieve my existing website?

Hello,

We can attempt to do a site restore if it was today. There is a $50 one time fee for a site restore. Would you like me to process that?

Yes, please go ahead with the restoration, how do I pay for the work?

I should add that the website I hope can be restored is the version that existed at 12 PM, Eastern Standard Time. I am sorry that I wasn't as clear as I could have been about this before.

Okay, I have put in for the site to be restored. It will be processed to the current debit/credit card on file. Please allow up to 24 hours to see the website back in the account.

I have looked again at my settings for my website and noticed that my domain settings have changed as well. The domain name is now listed as northheritagesitemove, not frederictonnorthheritage.com - I don't know what the former means. Perhaps this inadvertent change has something to do with my being unable to connect with the website I had till yesterday afternoon?

You are still using the domain frederictonnorthheritage.com. The secondary name that you see, northheritagesitemove is just the site url and does not show to your visitors. Your domain name overrides the site name, it is basically the name of the folder that holds your website.

Thanks for the information about the url, but when I look at the domain settings, it says "The domain www.frederictonnorthheritage.com is currently pointing to the website northheritagesitemove." How can I get it to point back at the site I created before yesterday's accident? I hope you can still recover my old website if at all possible - it would be much appreciated!

That is correct, your domain is attached to that website name, is still connected to the same site as before. It will not show it is pointing to the domain its just the way the system reads. It is still an open ticket but should be getting look at very soon. It can sometimes take 48 hours for a resolution.
