Inside of the Domains page, find the domain you are wanting to separate. There should be an option to click Change Site Association. Click this, and it will ask you which site to associate to. This will not interfere with the other domains pointing to it. Also, if you are wanting to add a SimpleStore to your account, I can assist with this or you may always contact support at 1-800-710-1998 to talk with a live agent. Please let me know!

that is great - thanks! but I want to also start a new website on the one that i separate once I disconnect it from the one that I want to keep. Can I do that as I just had the site cleaned up and updated and it not live as the older one is still running at the moment until we separate. I do  not want to loose all the work that has been done that I paid for.

Twiggy. you will need to use the new websitebuilder to create your new website, and its quite a change from Desktop and Sitebuilder plus. I don't doubt its going to take you quite a while to get to grips with the new builder and to make a new website. I would suggest, leave things as they are for now and make a start on your new site. Once its done to your satisfaction then you can publish it and make the redirections as appropriate. Good Luck.

PS. this is assuming your account allows for multiple websites.

Actually, the 'Community Wise Guys' can probably help you get the new website on SiteBuilder Plus rather than your having to switch to the new builder if that is your preference.

I use sitebuilder plus already as far as I know - I also have a few domains....I am looking to build a new wesbsite from the domain that will be UN pointed to the main website...dies that make sense...but since I have a web guy that has been working on the main website only and it is finished...I want to publish that one and not have the other one point to it..I am separating the firms.

let me explain it this way....I have TSR Canada pointing to The Staff Room,,,,I want to disconnect that and make them separate site...totally independent....that means the current updated website that is now ready to be published publish and NOT have tsrcanada domain point to The Staff Room website....meaning I have to build from scratch TSRCanada;s website...make more sense?

It looks like you have started a new Websitebuilder site and gotten the domain associated correctly.

Sorry, this is true. You can create a new site and build it, then move the domain to the new site, but we can't convert existing Sitebuilder sites to be Websitebuilder sites. They are simply too different to allow for this action. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
