I can't log into sitebuilder for the past 24 hrs. Can't log into my acct or anything. No help from Homestead all day long today!

I can't log into sitebuilder for the past 24 hours. Can't log into my acct or anything. I wasn't able to get any help from Homestead all day long today!

Yes how well I know. I have 5 websites with homestead and all of them went down. Dead links!! You have to go into sitebuilder plus and learn again how to edit your website. This is Terrible!
They want your money and won't give you any support!! I can't use site builder either!! Can't log in either. They said we all would have to learn the sitebuilder plus which is horrid for advanced website builders.

Sitebuilder plus is the one i have been on since moving my site to homestead about 9 months ago.

who are the other servers you use for your other sites? Maybe it's time for me to look for a replacement. thnx

No I have more than one website with homstead they let you build as many websites as you want with my pkg. Name.com has site builder and Yahoo too but don't know the restrictions as to how many websites you can build. I love homestead site builder when it works properly. They are probably upgrading or changing for the betterment of the company.

Well you have to keep your computer clean of mixed commands and malware for anything to work properly and pop ups in the settings too. Ccleaner is the best for this keeping it clean of mixed commands and past history of logging in to places.

i cannot log in sitebuler plus and my sitebuilder for the past weeks! and if I did log into sitebuilder plus, it was slow until I feel like shooting myself with a bullet while waiting! Loss business, loss time and calling them with a time different was painfull.

Chat online with the customer service was like a robot repeating the instruction from a manual book. Very upsetting. I was even billed despite the floor manager said they will waive 2 months subscription!

Ok I hope you can follow what I did to get my site builder back up. You need to have advnced system care program I think it is free. They have an uninstall program that will delete and shred all of your Homestead files in debth. You need to clean out all of homestead from your computer. Then long on to the main homestead site and do a clean install. Then you may need to republish the whole website or websites.

I am sorry for this. It might be a result of the ongoing data migration as your site is very large. Did you get an error message? If not, then try loading it again, and let it run for as long as you can. It should eventually either load or give an error. The migration has slowed the load down quite a bit, but if it loads successfully the editing isn't too bad.

I have used Homestead for over 4 years and there has always been periodic problems. Not like my other server at all.

Then why was an email or other communication not sent out to your clients explaining the situation..... so we wouldn't wait three days in sheer frustration?

I have lost several thousands of dollars. You guys updated your site to new servers at the most ridiculous time and the busiest time of year for anyone making money online. I think I am going to get a class action lawsuit going. You guys keep giving people the run around saying clear your cache. That is a complete joke all you are trying to do is by time by keeping people occupied. You should have had maintenance updates periodically and you would have avoided this problem. Homestead is a joke.

I am glad you were able to get it going again. We do have a topic for clean installs. It doesn't require 3rd party software, though that may make it easier. This is a very common fix for newer versions of Windows, but it does not solve the data migration issue.

Well if Homestead hadn't of Crashed I wouldn't have to do all of this extra work on my end at all!

I prefer the third party software, because it not only deletes the files it shreds them too. It's a lot easier than going through the steps and you do not have to restart your computer.

I do not have a newer version of Windows. I keep the upgraded windows XP and doing fine with it!!

Hi Drew,  Thanks for your reply to my post 7 hours ago. I thought the Log in problem was connected to the previous server issue.  Just tried to log into my desktop website builder again and it worked AND I was able to publish my updates. So everything seems to have resolved by itself, for me at least.  Feel sorry for the others who still cannot log in.

I haven't been able to make a site update for several days.  Will be ending my business with Homestead on Monday morning and going with a more reliable, professional, and courteous site host.

Beyond pissed at this point!

This is TOTALLY ridiculous! You are CLEARLY having server problems and costing your clients HOURS of work and waiting for your site to load properly! WHY do you not alert your clients if you are having these issues???

Yes Homestead crashed and our websites were down! This should not happen unless we don't pay for our Domain name. This has never happened in all the 8 years I had my Yahoo website. This caused my sitebuilder to Crash too. I had to delete it from my computer and do a clean install and then upload all of my files to Site builder all over again.

Misery could delete homestead and do a clean re-install instead of wasting their time coming up here and complaining. Everything is through migrating and should work now. Try deleting the new update of Java-8 I had to delete my other hosting company and rebuild it too. Everything is running so much better than it was with eachone of my sitebuilders of Homestead and Yahoo too.

I am totally frustrated. The reason that I went with Intuit originally because of the simplicity of use. I don't expect to have to clear caches, use 3rd party software or anything else to build websites. Time wasted.

When I changed the template, the website that disappeared was not the website that I was working on. Apparently somehow it switched to that website in the drop down box while I was viewing the template options but I know for 100% sure that when I went in to the template options the website that I wanted to work on was what was showing in the box. Is there a way to create a back-up of a website outside of your site? I will contact Homestead via chat as this is costing me a lot of time and money.

Unfortunately, there is no way to download the site at this time.. I am sorry about the restore. You are listed in the site restores, but chat will not be able to restore it at this time. We have this with the developers during the data center migration.

Drew, I have the same problem as everyone else - can't load SiteBuilder Plus, keep getting error message. I've been patiently waiting for this to resolve for several weeks, but it appears  no end is in sight. I'd really hate to have to go elsewhere and re-create my website from scratch. Is there any hope at all?

I should have replied sooner, but thanks for the fix. I was able to open SiteBuilderPlus and make my edits. I'm up and running fine now.

We are a nonprofit that relies heavily on year end donations. Guess what?? Website down, no donations, still no website BUT you billed me for my yearly payment during the same time!!!!!!  When can we expect our website back up and running?  I certainly feel a refund is in order since I can't even begin to put a value on what having our website with you has actually COST us!!!!  When will it be back up?????

Any luck with fortheloveofalthea restoration? I know that you and both folks on chat have said that they sent it to the developers but I still haven't heard anything...
