I can't load SiteBuilder onto my brand new (and connected!) Acer Aspire laptop. Help please.

I am trying to simply install SiteBuilder onto my brand new Acer Aspire laptop. When I try to install the protocol is interrupted by this message pop-up:

"The SiteBuilder installer has lost it's connection to the Site Builder install server. Please reconnect to the internet and relaunch the installer to resume the installation."

I am totally stumped at this message when I am indeed already connected. Can someone please advise on this problem?

SiteBuilder generally no longer works. 

I have to work through hoops every month to reinstall it.

They don't seem too concerned about this issue.  They seem to want you to do everything on line.
