Craig, If you are using OX directly you will need to go through all the folders and delete anything you no longer wish to keep INbox, sent, Trash etc and other personal folders you have created. There is a maximum space allowance. Anything you eed to keep, copy and paste to a word doc, notebook and save to your PC. If you are accessing your mailbox via IMAP system then you will need to log in directly to your OX email account to delete emails.

Hey Brian, I am experiencing the same problem, as multiple clients have stated they have sent me email and received back a "mailbox full" response. I implemented your suggestions directly in OX and cleared a ton of room, but I'm still receiving reports from clients saying their emails are being rejected because my mailbox is full. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance :)

Hmm It could be that it might take a short while for the emails to be removed from the servers, but I would only expect the delay to be minimal if at all. Will probably be down to one of the tech guys to double check your email account, see if there's a problem..Just a silly idea but one I will mention in passing, did you check your account usage after you have deleted all that stuff? Are you showing more space? Only reason I mention it was that once, after someone had cleared all their folders and still were showing no more space,  they still had over 5000 emails in their trash folder, they had forgot to empty it... like I said just a thought :)

SanDiegoTicketExpert, you will want to log into your email at emailmg.homestead.com, and delete any unwanted or unnecessary emails to get under your 500MB quota, or we can double the space with an upgrade for an additional $3.

Please let us know.

Hey Todd, I thought I had, but after poking around a bit, I found archive folders full of tons of stuff in my trash that I recall moving around on my desktop version of Outlook back in June. The odd thing is that these folders were only moved to the sandiegoticketexpert.com email account I have linked to the desktop version of Outlook for a very short time (I use this desktop Outlook to be able to see and use all of my various email accounts in one place). As I access and use all of my email accounts almost exclusively through this desktop Outlook, I had no idea that that the XO server here apparently maintained copies of every email and reply I had transmitted via the desktop Outlook, as well as whatever is in the trash. Once I cleared these folders on XO I had ample room on the account.

Is there a way to have the XO delete the content of the trash (and sent folder if possible) periodically? Thanks

SanDiegoTicketExpert, Is your Outlook set up as IMAP or POP?

For $3/month we can also upgrade your space. It would double the current limit

would you mind looking at my konacraig@onstage-booking.com  Im having problems sending and receiving with it.  I started having issues with it a month before seeing the mailbox Quota  full on my structuralreinforcing address. I also upgraded my iphone and since then I get messages saying that the settings are incorrect so I cannot set it up but when I use the same settings on my ipad I had no problems. Now I am getting  the same message on my ipad. Where can I find my username and password for my email accounts.

I was able to test your email and saw that it is working. Can you try resetting the password and reconnecting it to your phone and other devices?

I'm having the same issue with my email but I only have 352 emails. All other categories have been cleaned out. It seems that I have been able to have a lot more emails in the past. Will I have to upgrade as well? Has there been a change?

I can see that you have emails queued for deletion, but if you need to immediately delete emails, I would recommend logging in at emailmg.homestead.com, delete the emails, and make sure to empty the trash folder so you can clear up any space.
