Are you using SB+, desktop or the new webbuilder program? What kind of problem do you have?

I am using the web based Sitebuilder Plus.  When i try to insert an image, all I get is an error message, saying the problem is due to a server problem.

Audrey, it is behaving like it is the size. I did not get an error, but it did not publish. I did go to the file manager and published from there. It isn't perfect, but you can sort by pages that need to be published. Then you can hold shift down and click on the first and last file and it will tag all. Then publish. Try that for now.

I have been ill so haven't been doing much. Can you expand on what you say above?
I go to file manager select the file I want to publish
But then you lose me. Do you mean where you want to publish more than one page at once?
When I am feeling better and start deleting the older pages, Will that reduce the load if I am unable to delete all the images at same time?
I cannot do it by date in file manager and would have to delete the many images on many pages.
In brief, will just deleting pages help and do images as and when I can?
Thanks Drew

Hi Audrey
See if this helps
This is my file manager.

If you click on the picture it will enlarge so you can see it better

In the second pic, icons with the red house is a web page. The page with lines is a text file the small pic is an image file. On the extreme right you can see the status of that page /file/image. In this pic below it is showing one image file that I haven't used on the website yet so it hasn't been published and it has the yellow icon saying publish. If I wanted to publish this file I would click on the file to highlight it, go to the top and click publish. Pages can be published the same way.

If you want to delete a long list, one above another, you can click on the top file, move to the last file in the list you want to delete, hold down the SHIFT KEY before you click on that last file. Then release the SHIFT KEY. This will highlight all the files, as you can see. (Just clicking in an empty space next to the list will clear your selection if you get it wrong)

If you want to select individual files then click on the first file you want to delete, Hold down the CTRL KEY and keep it held down whilst you click on each file to be deleted. Then release the CTRL KEY all the files you chose will be highlighted. Here I have selected just three files.

Once the files you want to remove are highlighted, move to the top of the file manager and click on delete.

Lastly, to help you find certain image files, if you look to the top of the file manager you will see the option "Browse By" its default is List but the drop down menu gives the option to view thumbnails.

If you wanted to delete in this view the Shift Key option does not work, but you can click on name under the first file you want to delete and then, holding the CTRL KEY down, click on the names of the other files you want gone and each name will be highlighted. Then release the CTRL key.. then delete.

Deleting the page doesn't remove the files on that page from the file manager.( As far as I know, never checked it)

One word of warning, once deleted they are almost impossible to retrieve. IF you make a mistake... Shut the programme down, don't do anything else on the website and post a message here for Drew or Todd... Sometimes they can perform miracles and get the files back.   Hope that above helped a little.. :)

Brian how kind of you to go to so much trouble to help me.
I am still unable to work on computer for very long but as son as I am bright eyed etc, I will work through what you advise. It will be a long job with so many pages but worth it if it solves my current publishing problems.I have copied to Word so I have it by me

Deleting pages will help, but deleting corresponding files that are no longer in use will also help. If you manage to remove more than you add, then things should begin to improve slowly. If you can;t work for long, no matter. If the total site begins to decline in size things should get better.
