I cannot import files from my computer to a folder using the file manager.  I select a file and click open and nothing happens. I have done this many times in the past successfully.

You could possibly be exceeding your allotted space limit. You can check this under your Account Summary.
OR
Check the file name to be sure it doesn't contain any characters other than the accepted ones.
You cannot use the following characters anywhere in a file name:

  • Tilde
  • Number sign
  • Percent
  • Ampersand
  • Asterisk
  • Braces
  • Backslash
  • Colon
  • Angle brackets
  • Question mark
  • Slash
  • Pipe
  • Quotation mark

Brian is correct. spaces are invalid characters. If you have spaces remove them

Thank you. Is that a change? We have uploaded many files with spaces in the names in the past and they always worked.

My file does not have any of the invalid characters and I still get the error message - Invalid file name! File name can contain only alphanumerics,-,_.

Again, I cannot import any html files. These files have legal names. I know something is wrong when I cannot select more than one file from the open dialog box. Why is this happening?

We are looking to see if we can see a server side reason for this.

There is something wrong with the file upload widget in the file manager.
However, when I drag and drop the files from my local folder to the file manager area in my web browser, the files upload just fine.
