I'm having the same problem, and haven't yet to have a reply as well. I've never had a problem in all these years until now, and wondering if it has something to do with them creating the new program they are working on. Would be nice if they'd answer our question, a can't sell when can't post, right?

One of the tech guys should be in here soon or you could try customer service 800-710-1998. Sometimes storage space in the account can cause a problem and with VIncents problem the use of odd characters in the title can cause an issue. The blah blah blah might have held a clue as to the root of the problem. Hope it gets sorted for you

I finally was able to upload, but only in the following way. I had to link it to the words for photo uploading. Once I did that and published, I then unlinked it and since photo was in with the rest uploaded, then was able to add to page. So has to be a problem with Homestead I would assume, or if it was due to as you said storage space, would not have been able to upload it in the way I finally did. So if you could check into this would be appreciated. Been with you for years, but lately I am starting to become very unhappy. Seems nobody in Homestead is willing to help with doing so. Not good, as I should have ample storage with account I have.

There should not be any trouble uploading images. If you do have trouble please let us know exactly what is happening when you try. Also, Robert4933, you appear to be using Internet Explorer 11. Please use Firefox or Chrome. You will find they work better. IE tends to have some issues.

I'm having the same problem Drew N, in uploading photos to through desktop Sitebuilder. I'm using the current version of Chrome and have Windows 10. When I go to upload a photo from my computer I get a window that Pops us. In grey at the top it says: Error Message with a ! inside a yellow Triangle  on the left side. On the right there is an x. Then below there is this message: Invalid file name! File name can only contain alphanumerics, -, _. There is a close button in the window.

This has happen since 10-3-16 when I last did updates on my website.

I have been able to upload a photo if I totally change the time and date stamp info on my photo with only words. Then I was able to upload the photo, which I just did this evening.

I should not have to change the names on all the photos that I want to replace on my website. We need to find a fix please.

Do you have an example of a file name that would not upload? The Internet has never really liked file names with spaces and certain special characters and so they are disabled. If you have spaces, you will need to rename the images.

Drew, I uploaded this image in either June or July 2016. Here is the file name for it: 2016-05-04 10.51.25    it shows up in SiteBuilder as 2016-0504_10_51_09
SiteBuilder Plus made the changes in the file name. I just tried to upload this same file and now SiteBuilder Plus will not let me do this. Also I've always had the date in numbers in my photos, now SiteBuilder Plus wants us to spell everything out, it will no longer take a file with numbers in it. What has changed in the SiteBuilder Plus program that it will no longer automatically make the file name changes when you are uploading photos. All of my uploaded photos have been this way since I've been with this company for over 10 years.

Unfortunately there was a change in that. There were loads of complaints concerning the renaming of files. It should still allow numbers, just not some characters like dots or spaces. There isn't anything I can do to change this. I am sorry.

Thank you Drew, By changing only the (.) in the file name I am able to upload photos. I can still use numbers and not the alphabet as the error message has been stating. It's better use of time, then doing a total rename of time. Again thank you for telling us what has happened.
