Second time of asking. I need someone at Homestead to stop emails from other members which I have not requested into my inbox AND worse, some of them appear to come from me ! (AUDREY1969)  The latest is from someone who wants his/her site removed, which I certainly do not.I have tried stopping these emails using Community advice but seem to have made things worse. Please stop them and please do not ALLOW ANY WHICH APPEAR TO COME FROM ME.I HAVE NOT REQUESTED ANY HELP RECENTLY.

If you click on your name at the right, then profile, you will see you are currently following 32 topics. You can click on each topic and you will be able to hit the unfollow button near the top right. This should stop these topic emails.

You have also select to receive mail in most every situation. Under email & notifications, read the descriptions and uncheck any situations you do not want to receive mail for. Keep in mind if you just uncheck everything, you will not get any mail, including answers to any questions you do ask. I would suggest you leave only the top box checked.

If you still receive mail after unsubscribing to each topic, then you are subscribed to a category. Go to the categories page. You will see each category there. You should be able to get a sense of the category to click from the topic title on the email. Once in the category, you can unfollow those too at the top right.

In the unlikely event you still receive an unwanted email, please provide the specific topic. or copy/paste the email here and I will figure out why you are still receiving it.

Dear Drew - Can you do check
You have sent me such a comprehensive help page but I think I am making situation worse. When I click on these conversations they already say Unfollow but yet I am have been  receiving them at the rate of 12 or so a day and with three devices, I am deleting all the time. Then I went on Categories, have I deleted the right section there?this is why I wrote to you in desperation - every time I try to stop these emails, I end up getting more What am I doing wrong? Before I do more, will you check if I am off any of the conversations? So sorry to come back to you again

If they say Unfollow, that means you are following them. Click Unfollow and it should change to Follow, which means you are NOT following it, and will not get emails. I think that is where you are going astray. I now have you not following any categories.

I don't mind helping at all, but I do want to help you understand how to do this, so you don't keep getting frustrated at it. Make sure each of those topics says Follow and you should not get the emails. I don't want to be the one to just decide to unfollow you from everything, as you may like to follow the community announcement category. That way you will get emails when I have some announcement for everyone.
Also remember, when you contribute to a topic, it will set you to following, so you get my response. If you don't want to get responses at some point, click unsubscribe in the email or unfollow in the topic.
Does this help?
