I am unable to do any of these things in my attempt to transfer my domain to a new host:

Scroll down to your domain name. There are 4 things you need to do before you start the transfer.

Edit Contact Info -- Make sure your email address is listed as the administrative contact. The authorization code (sometimes referred to as an EPP code or Domain password) will be sent to that email.

Unlock Domain -- Click Edit Domain Locking link and make sure your domain is unlocked.

Disable Privacy -- Click Show Privacy Status and confirm it's disabled or off.

Send Authorization Code -- Click Email your authorization code link. The next page will confirm the email address it will be sent to. Click Send to confirm.

Thank you.

According to whois, your domain is registered at http://www.wildwestdomains.com and not with Homestead. If you want to transfer it, you will need to do all these things from that account.

Hi Drew,
According to my colleague who built the website, the domain is registered with Homestead, and our account is with Homestead. We have no knowledge of Wild West Domains.

It seems that the domain does pull up a Homestead site, but the domain is not hosted with Homestead. It is hosted at Wild West Domains. You can see the registrar using a whois search.

I see that. Thank you. Is it possible that a third party did this? The person who built this site made no action to host the site at Wild West Domains. Our account is with Homestead. Do you have any recommendations to resolve this and get our site moved to WordPress? Thank you, Drew.

You will have to find your account at Wild West Domains. You can then point or transfer the domain to a new host. I did some more detailed searching and the domain has never been hosted through your Homestead account, but that is not a problem. Pointing a domain from one host to another host for your website is a common practice.
