You need to select the text in order to change the color. Right click and highlight the text > select the color from your text editor.

Hello,

I am not sure how you are attempting to change the color, but please make sure you are following these instructions for editing text in the mobile:

I couldn't do it, I wan the PC version to be white background with black fonts and the mobile version with black background with white fonts but when I change the font color in the style menu, only some letter change color, I can't figure it out!!

You're editing the mobile version separately from your website built with SB+?

This conversation is listed as a Sitebuilder Plus topic. SB+ is one of the programs offered to DIY website builders to build their website. If you're using SB+, you can highlight text and assign a font color using you text editor.

When editing the mobile version of your website, it is still supposed to be somewhat similar to what is showing on the desktop, except more condensed.

Whatever is present in a section your desktop version will show the same in the mobile, that is why the desktop version with white background and black font shows on the mobile as well.

Thank you for your reply. You can somewhat change the design from PC to the mobile version. My issue is that I can't change the color of the entire text on my mobile home page. My PC home page is a white background with black fonts with a picture on the side, which is fine. On the mobile version, the picture overlaps the background and the dark text cannot be read, so I am trying to change the font color on my mobile design to white text on the dark picture background, however, only some of the letters will take the color, others remain dark, there is no apparent pattern, I have tried just about everything

As I mentioned before on another question you asked, I recommend that you clear that image from the background of your mobile site. It is busy and going to make text difficult to read regardless of which text color you choose.
Also, in the text formatting article I posted previously, that fix will only work on text that has not been edited previously in mobile. I would recommend copying the text and recreating the text box in your desktop site, so that it has no errors editing in mobile.

Thank you, I followed the instructions they gave me on the phone and it worked. Thanks again
