How to disable "Compare Products"?

When a customer checks off to compare products the results are are not formatted properly. How can I fix the formatting or disable this option?

Under Setup & tools > Store settings > Display, you can uncheck Enable product comparisons. I can send it to design, but they would have to re-enable it to fix it. Is it a feature you wish to use?

My products are gourmet foods so they don't lend themselves to product comparison.

I am having a problem with my new Bigcommerce template. I unchecked the "Enable Product Comparisons?" box, but the comparison functionality is still in place. I'm not sure what else to do to remove this.

I tried refreshing and clearing the browser history, but when I search for a part or click on a category, the items that show up allow for product comparison.  Each part has a little box, and when it's hovered over, it says, "Add to Compare."

HI Leslie0014,   I was advised by Bigcommerce that since the them you are using is a Premium them, that it is supported by another group.  When you log into the Admin side if the Bigcommerce site, click the "Design" link at the top right. On the next page you see some buttons like below.



Click on the "Support" button and you'll see an email address and also an "Email Support" button.  You'll need to click on one of those and email the "PSDCenter".  BC confirmed you have the setting correct, but their template appears to be bugged.
