How do I add a image slider equivalent to today's HD landing pages? Java script? I've downloaded some different variations however don't understand how to implement these onto my sites, with my choice of images. I'm looking for the simple fade in/out of possible 3-5 images with either arrows on either side of the screen or bullets centered under the slider. Very common on many sites and not so easy to create here.... Please advise.

We don't have this built in, but we have had people use WowSlider and Comslider with success. You just upload the files to the site from file manager.

If you have code, then add an HTML box to the page and copy/paste the code in there.

Hey Drew.... Wowslider is one I downloaded. It's not HTML though... or I don't get exactly how to convert it that way. Seems to be more of a link or background type of product. I can save a "trial" slider on the program of my own images, but don't get how to place it into the builder as HTML or other. I found my file editor, and uploaded, and published the file... now what.... I can't find anyway of including it into a snippet.
I also don't yet see how the images would even work dependent upon the display/resolution of the slider itself. Ultimately I may need to skip this concept, but I'm looking to get a more "pro" look to present my artisan products.

Great looking dog by the way. Reminds me of our family line.

If you are looking for the File Manager, in SiteBuilder Plus, just click on your domain name at the top of the screen, and it will expose a menu with a link to the File Manager where you can import an necessary files.

If it helps, I've had reports from several others the option on this site is easier to use than wowslider: http://www.comslider.com/

Try Amazing slider. Its'free with their logo in the corner. But the program is very easy to use and there are good tutorials. http://amazingslider.com/

Don't forget to plan ahead, re-size and crop your images to the size you want the slide show to appear on your page. i.e., If you create a banner slider, that's 800 wide and 400 high, all of your images should be the same.

If you just need to place code in a specific page location, follow the steps here: https://community.homestead.com/homes...

Thanks Mike. I get the snippet... With the slider there is two separate codes to be placed. One before the head tag and one within the body. I tried placing them both on the page by "Advanced Settings" (but this seems to keep them both in the body area), one at the head with a HTML snippet, once with the onload placement and with all these combinations no luck... Any other ideas?

For the code that goes in the head section, follow these steps: https://community.homestead.com/homes...

For the code that belongs in the Body, follow these steps: https://community.homestead.com/homes...

Thanks Mike, but at this time I've decided to defect... The limited areas seem to be pushing me. It isn't just this one forum I've been looking into. Good luck to you. Thanks for your time.
