Hi,

Here are some instructions to upload a video to your website:

  1. Click Websites Manager link in the left navigation menu. Then, click Edit Site.

  2. Click Insert in the top toolbar and mouse-over YouTube Video.

  3. You will be presented with two options on how you can upload your video:
  • The first option is through a YouTube element. We recommend using YouTube if your video is rather large as it can cause slower loading times for your webpage. For more information on how to setup up Youtube - Click Here

  • The other option is to upload your video through our video player (second option under the YouTube drop-down menu). Once you've selected the video element, click on the blue and white arrow in Video Player Settings to the right to locate your video file.

  • In the Browse window, select Upload from computer to find the video file or browse your file manager.

  • Note:
Here is a list of acceptable formats:

  • Once you have found your video file, you can resize the element and drag it to the proper location on your page.

  • Save and Publish to see your video on your live site.

  • Hope that helps!

Someone e-mailed me a sales vedio that I was able to click and play when I opened up the e-mail. How can I copy and past that same video into my web site so we can share info. This is not a you tube video.

    Thank You

Can I insert a video directly onto my website without putting it on youtube first?.

I do not want to post my videos on youtube. I want to directly insert them from my computer.

    Just follow the steps above.

I have loaded a swf video loaded and the only way it will display is if I allow it to play continuously.  Also, with the controls checked to display, nothing shows in any browser.  Looks like the video content control features are not coded properly.  Here is the site. http://www.kidneywabashvalley.com/ and the video still shot is up front and center, I have set the controls to show and turned off the auto play mode and nothing is showing.  Also with the auto play mode activated and the controls option to display, nothing shows and the video continuously plays even with the continuous play option off.

    Please advise.

Hi kidneywabashvalley8486,   there are a couple things you can try. For various reasons, Google/Chrome and Apple have really started to frown upon the use of flash in websites.   You can try to convert the video to a different format and then upload the new file and see if that works.

Also, you might find that embedding the video with the use of html5 code is a better long term solution. This page has some basic instructions and code you can try if you wish.
