For other gateways, there is currently not a way to process refunds within the software. You will need to login to your payment gateway's virtual terminal and do this from there, then update the order within BigCommerce to reflect that change.
1.) If you do use one of those payment gateways, click on Orders and then View Orders.
2.) Select Refund in the Action dropdown menu.
3.) You can refund the full amount or a partial amount. After you choose one of those two options, click on Refund.
If you have problems issuing a refund, you need to make sure that the payment in question has been settled. Usually, this is the cause of refunds not processing correctly.
