If you've already paid for a domain (website address) with Go Daddy, you can "point" the domain to your Homestead website. Make sure you have the username/Customer # and password for your Go Daddy account. Pointing a domain typically takes 1-3 business days to complete, depending on the speed of your domain provider.
Important: If you have email with Go Daddy and want to keep your email with them, you'll need to complete a CNAME Point.
To point a domain from Go Daddy
- Log in to Go Daddy using your username and password.
- Click My Account in the upper right corner.
- In the Products tab, click the plus sign to the left of DOMAINS.
- In the list of domains, click Launch for the domain you'd like to point to Homestead.
- In the Nameservers area, click Set Nameservers.
- In the Set Nameservers window, select I have specific nameservers for my domains.
- Add our Nameservers. Go Daddy provides space to enter up to 4 Nameservers in this window. You only need to enter 3 and it doesn't matter what order they are entered in. Then, click OK.

- Nameserver 1 - NS1.MDNSSERVICE.COM
- Nameserver 2 - NS2.MDNSSERVICE.COM
- Nameserver 3 - NS3.MDNSSERVICE.COM

Note: You can have more than one domain pointed or associated (registered) with a website.

The point will complete in 1-3 business days depending on the speed of your domain provider
Hope that helps!

I'm so sorry about you frustrations - I completely understand. It sounds like you were directed to initiate "Transferring" your domain to Homestead, which is not what you wanted to do. The second time around, they had you set up "pointing" from GoDaddy's end which is the correct way. Please check out the instructions above, as it details what steps you need to take. Your nameservers have not yet been changed to Homestead, but once they are your domain will work within 12 hours.
Thanks,
Aubrey

How do I point an existing domain to Homestead Sitebuilder Pages and setup new email account.
Hi! I need to know the steps to point my current domain name (www.davieconcrete.com) established (parked) with a third party to the web pages I created through Sitebuilder. I would also like to host the email with the same extension with you as well. If you can provide me with the instruction, I will work with the current provider to get the appropriate servers added to this registration. Thanks in advance. David B [dbrosnah@yahoo.com]

Have the current host add the nameservers shown in step #7, then log into your account on www.homestead.com and do steps 8-12.
After the domain pointing is complete, then you'll be able to create the email accounts. Follow this thread for email setup: https://community.homestead.com/homes...
If this post helps, please give a "Star" and complete this survey to rate me.
Thanks!

Unless you are doing a Cname point, you'll want to change the nameservers to:
- NS1.MDNSSERVICE.COM
- NS2.MDNSSERVICE.COM
- NS3.MDNSSERVICE.COM

My site unable to be seen in any browser.
Trying to upload my site to Google Merchant Center and Google has indicated that they're unable to pull up the site in any browser. I tried to replicate and was unable to pull up my site. They've suggested we contact our site developer. I've re-published the entire site and we're still experiencing issues. M

Domain pointing with an I.P adress.
I want to point my newly purchased danish domain, bought through Goddady to my website shapewearheaven.com. But because it is a .dk domain I have to change the nameservers and provide an I.P adress of the nameservers in order to be able to point the domain to my website.
Can you help with the name of the name servers and the I.P adress?

You can follow the steps on this page, or, if you'll be using email at Godaddy you can use the Cname pointing method instead: How do I point my domain, but still keep my email? (Cname Point)

I looked for my page, and it does not come up on google, despite faithful payment. Then, I typed in the url, and it was "page not found." I logged in, confirmed that Homestead faithfully took my money, but when I tried to Publish again, it took me to some "trial" site. What is going on?

Your website is not appearing because your domain kppmeds.com is not pointing to Homestead. Please see the article above to point the domain to us. If you would like to point the domain to us but keep your email services through Network Solutions, let me know and I can provide the information to do so.
If you would like to view your published website in the meantime, you can see your site under the Homestead sub domain at http://hstrial-wvinsko.homestead.com/
