We had a Prostores page set up with a flash banner at the top of the home page. The product pages are not supposed to have the banner, but it's there. How do I limit it to just showing on the home page and not on the product pages?

A few more details. The bottom image is the Boots product page from the new BigCommerce site. I found the block of code that places the Flash banner in the Header.html panel. Probably what we're looking for is the ability to have two different header panels: one for the home/landing page with the Flash banner, and one for the rest of the product pages without the banner.

I discovered that our Secure Checkout template is in need of some work:

Hi Drew,

This is Stephanie's technical employee Ernie. I hacked the display by adding the following line at line 1886 of styles.css:

#LayoutColumn1 {background-color: White;}

The graphics in the #Wrapper frame no longer show through into the Secure Checkout page, making it much more readable. As far as I can tell, this has not negatively impacted the product display on the other pages.

Amendment:

The css messed up the product pages (F5 refresh revealed the impact), so I went back and changed the above line to:

.ExpressCheckout {background-color: white;}

It's a compromise in that the bottom of the menu box peeks out during checkout, but both pages are usable.

Ernie
