How do I make mobile site without a 3rd party involved? Homesteads "partner" duramobile is a joke, and a rip off. Homestead claims to offer a free mobile site, but instead links to a 3rd party provide that places ads on your own site, unless you pay them a high monthly fee. There must be a way to do this without using them and being ripped off. Anyone know?

It is pretty complicated which is why you probably won't find a free service.

Creating a mobile site involves various steps. First, you would obviously need to duplicate your site except format for mobile devices. Next you would need to know how to write the code that is capable of recognizing what type of device, operating system and web browser is being used so that the code can determine when, or when not to direct the user to the mobile site, vs. the regular site. There will also be some DNS records which you'll need to update as well.

If anyone on the Community knows of one, please post it here.
