Hear are the steps to make a test purchase on your Storefront. If you haven't already set up a payment processor, do that first.
Note: Please be advised that when Test Mode is enabled, your credit card transactions won't be processed, even if your store is open for business. All the orders placed while test mode is enabled will generate an error on the order confirmation page. If your customers are receiving an error on the order confirmation page, check to see if Test Mode is enabled.
To enable credit card test mode:
Click Store in the left navigation menu and select Payment Prefs from the sub menu.
In the Processor: section, click Configure.
Click to select the Test Mode checkbox.
Important: Remember to uncheck Test Mode when you've finished testing.
