We have a number of BigCommerce store owners that wish to have BigCommerce be both their main company website, as well as their e-commerce storefront. This is possible to do with BigCommerce by having the store's domain name NOT take you directly to the products for sale, but rather a more normal looking web page. This will still use the store's template structure as an outline surrounding your main page, so if you wish to make this page look completely different than your storefront then I suggest you take a look at this article.

This article contains a video that will guide you through this process, however it is important to note that this is considered to be an advanced video that we do not offer phone/email support for. We are confident that this video contains everything that is needed to make a landing page within a BigCommerce store but you may need to obtain assistance from a web developer to help implement this if you do not understand the video and its contents.

By the end of following the video tutorial below you should have a BigCommerce site with a normal looking homepage, and then the option of clicking over to the storefront(products that you are selling) from the main menu. In my example image to the left I have a 'Shop' link in the main menu that takes you to the Featured Products & New Products.

Here is the video walkthrough:

The text for the home page is in a slightly different location.

The text for the homepage is under the Marketing tab and then View Banners. When the page loads, look under the "Action" heading and click the small icon that looks like a gear wheel. You'll then see an "edit' link that will allow you to change the text.
