How do I connect to my store via WebDAV using CyberDuck?

What is Cyberduck?
Cyberduck is a free WebDAV software client that allows you to access your store's files remotely. It is available for both Windows and Mac OS X.


Find your WebDAV login info 1. In your Bigcommerce control panel, go to Settings › Server Settings › File Access (WebDAV).

In some versions of the control panel, this is located under Setup & Tools › File Access (WebDAV).
2. You will see your WebDAV login information listed under the WebDAV tab.

Connect with Cyberduck 1. Open Cyberduck.

2. Click on Open Connection.

3. Enter the login information from the Bigcommerce control panel into Cyberduck/

  • Server - enter the WebDAV Path. The port 443 will fill itself in, and /dav will move to the Path field.
  • Username - this is the email address listed under WebDAV username.
  • Password - this is the WebDAV Password.
You many need to uncheck the Anonymous Login check box to input your username and password

4. Click Connect. When the login is successful, you will see your store's folders.

tried all this does not work... tried BC's recommended cyberduck version, tried the most updated version, tried resetting password, etc and still cannot access!

I am sorry but perhaps you missed the part where I said I tried all this and all the info BC has on their help pages?

Hello,

Try these steps instead. First: uninstall CyberDuck, and download and install CyberDuck version 4.4.3 from HERE.
Then when you have 4.4.3 installed, click the download from the step above.



Then all you need to do is open this file and CyberDuck should launch and automatically connect to the store.

Also tried that too... and just did again on a brand new computer... years later and I am still unable to connect or update anything via webdav!!!

It is beyond frustrating that bigcommerce cannot help us directly especially when the homestead team is so out of the loop with how to help us for years now something as simple as connecting to webdav is unattainable as is the assistance to trouble shoot. 

I've been a client of homestead for over a decade (closer to 2 now) and asking myself why stay loyal when I have yet to have my issue resolved...

I am not sure where exactly you are getting stuck, but if you would like to create a private topic here or call support so you can provide us your log in credentials we can try to log in. It might be you have some sort of software that is blocking it Webdav or maybe your ISP. Inside of your BC admin, you need to go to the server settings and get the Webdav connection file and password. It should connect right up, but I would be happy to try your store if you want to make a private conversation.
