There are many reasons you may have to occasionally clear the cookies and cache from your web browser. Here's a little trick that works on almost every web browser. Hold down the following keys: Ctrl+Shift+Delete and you'll get a pop-up. Be sure to select/check Browsing & Download History, Cookies, and Cache.

After you've cleared the history, then close and reopen your browser.

Hi Ruth0839,

Try clearing your browser cache.  I was able to add a Facebook follow button with no trouble.  If that doesn't do it, try a different browser.  If you still have a problem, then let us know what page you are trying to add the button, and which button.

Thanks

Drew

Edward4882,  First try to clear your browser's cache. Then be sure to close the browser down and log back in and test it again. If that does not work let us know.

I am still building my site and find that changes to my pages (that I have saved) do not come up as I preview my navigation site.  I can find the changes when I click on each individual page on the left in site building mode.  The changes do not come up on preview mode.

Hello Ewing3006,
Sitebuilder does used a cached version of your site when in preview mode. This can sometimes result in the preview not loading new changes to your site. To fix this you need to clear the cache and cookies of your web browser. Then close your browser completely and log back in. The article above shows the steps on how to clear the cache and cookies.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled why isn't it publishing my saved changes?.

I have edited and updated my website, saved changes, previewed it and then published the entire site. When the site comes up it doesn't reflect the changes I've made. Is there some kind of lag time before the updated and published site goes online? Please explain!!!

You may be viewing your cached website. Try clearing it out and seeing it the website shows the published version.
