I'm also having the same problem. My account is due to renew tomorrow and your cancellation button doesn't work (there's something quite funny about a company who offers functional web-design software having a website with non-functioning buttons). Please also cancel my account.

I need to cancel my Homestead website and its account. The buttons to do so don't seem to work right now. Perhaps I need to wait and call, but if there is another way, I'd certainly like to know about it. I only have one website with 4 pages. Thank you!

I need to cancel my account. The whole process works until I get to the final page saying "Are you sure" etc and the "Yes, Cancel My Account" button doesn't button. The other ones work but the one I actually want to click so I can cancel does nothing.

I am trying to cancel my account by going under Account Summary.  When I click on the cancel all services button, nothing happens.
I cannot wait hours on hold to support and I do not see a chat option anywhere. There really should be an easier way. Other people are having similar issues according to the forum.

Oh I see. Yes, unfortunately you are on the cheapest price for your package I've seen in a long time. Most people pay 2.5x as much for that plan these days. Even if we were to downgrade you to our lowest hosting plan, it would be more expensive than your grandfathered price. I'm sorry there isn't more we can do in regard to the pricing.

I am trying to cancel my account too and like everyone else I get a message saying I must call. The answer given is WRONG as it does not work. Can someone please resolve this issue which appears to have existed for 6 years or more?????

I have tried canceling all services..it says Today I must call this number  to cancel 800710 1998. I tried it says we are closed. 
Person for whom this site built is dead and site is no longer wanted
.  Please help me cancel so credit card doesn't get billed on 16th Oct.

I have the same problem as Kyle and your response doesn't help at all. After I removed the domain name and deleted my website the message came up so I called the number from Australia and got a message 'this number is not available....
Please help so I don't need to spend anymore time on what should have been a simple task. You really need a better contact option as well

When Kyle tried to call, it was Saturday and we were closed. He called when we were open and was able to get assistance.
I can see you have removed everything from the account, so I can close it for you.
If you need to call in the future, please be sure to put the country code since you are calling from another country. It should read 1-800-710-1998

I tried cancelling my account last month but was billed again. Tried to cancel it again now and it gives me this message: Cancellation Today must be done by calling Homestead Support on 1-800-710-1998
So must I call to cancel my account? Can't it be done online?

I thought I cancelled, but just got charged. My bank account is now overdrawn and I'm scrounging for change to put gas in my car to get to work tomorrow. 

I followed these instructions, but at the end it says I have to call. 

After so many years of being a loyal customer and recommending Homestead, I will be making damn sure that none of my business owning friends EVER use their service.

I can certainly cancel your account so there are no further charges and refund the most recent charge.
May I ask, how did you try to close the account before when you thought you cancelled?

I did this, but get instructions to call. When I call, a recording says they are closed. It's 1:50 pm Pacific Time. The recording says they will reopen at 6 am Pacific Time. I want to cancel today to avoid being billed for another month. Why have an online method of cancelling if it doesn't work?

The account has not been cancelled. If you call 1-800-710-1998, you can speak with a representative who can make sure everything you need has been moved off of the account and help you close it. You will then get an email confirmation of this change.
