How do I add an icon to my desktop for Site Builder Plus?

Hello Thomas7677,

The next time you log into SiteBuilder, just click on the small icon (this is called a "favicon") and drag'n drop it to your desktop. It will add a short cut so the next time you want to edit your site, you can bypass all the extra clicks. For security reasons it will still prompt you to log in but it does make it easier.



It will create a shortcut that looks like this:

I have tried this over and over and it does not work.  I have windows 8.1 but I have a desktop as well...any other suggestions.

I do apologize, but this post is a couple years old and may not work for all browsers. The guide was using Internet Explorer to do this.

I would not recommend this method, as things could update and you would end up with a dead icon that doesn't work. The best thing would be to go to Homestead.com and log in there to get to SiteBuilder Plus.
